How to evaluate an AI task platform opportunity in Kenya

A practical checklist for checking eligibility, payment terms, account rules, privacy, and realistic expectations before joining an AI task platform.

01

Start with the official platform rules

Before you apply, read the platform's own eligibility, identity, location, account-use, and payment requirements. A third party cannot override those rules, and no legitimate partner should ask you to misrepresent your identity or location.

Check whether the platform permits the kind of support or managed arrangement being discussed. If the rules require the account holder to complete work personally, that requirement must be respected.

02

Verify the opportunity before sharing information

Confirm the website, organization, contact channel, and written terms. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, identity documents, or payment details through an unverified chat or form.

  • +Use the official platform domain and support channels.
  • +Ask what information is required and why.
  • +Keep control of your email, phone number, and recovery methods.
  • +Never pay for a promise of guaranteed approval or guaranteed tasks.

03

Understand how money is calculated

Ask whether figures refer to gross platform revenue, verified payments, or profit after agreed costs. A revenue-sharing arrangement should explain deductions, timing, records, disputes, and what happens when a platform reverses or rejects a payment.

04

Use a realistic decision rule

AI task availability changes. Treat any forecast as uncertain, keep written records, and avoid relying on an unapproved account or unverified task pipeline as guaranteed income.

Talk before you commit

Ask about eligibility and written terms.
